We’ve got a tropical jungle for a backyard, with all kinds of exotic fruits and trees providing the perfect setting for the bar and swimming pool 🙂
In the main section we offer dorm rooms which are three bed maximum with fan or AC options (female dorms are also available), private rooms, and one twin.

How to get around
Arriving in Gili Air
As some of you may already know, Gili Air is famous for being “no-motorized vehicle” island.
If you arrive to Gili Air with heavy luggage, you could take a horse-cart (“cidomo”) to take you to Tipsea Turtle for about 150.000 IDR or walk!
Tipsea Turtle is located within a 20-mins walk from the harbor towards the north side of the island, and you could easily get through either by the ocean side or through the middle of the island.
Getting around
The only ways to get around are by renting a bike or walking. The prices of bike rental are fixed by a partnership of all providers on the island and go as beyond:
1 day – 50.000 IDR
Most of the roads on the island are cyclable, with a few exceptions of paths along the beach.
Cafes
There are a few dozens of cafes and restaurants on Gili Air, and its very easy to get lost. While some of them offer the yummiest food with a great value for price, others might turn to be a big disappointment.

Snorkeling
Snorkeling off the shore or the boat, you will enjoy the view over shallow reefs, tropical fish and, most likely, sea turtles! To snorkel and swim off the shore, you can rent snorkeling equipment for 50.000 IDR/day in multiple beach stalks all over the island. The closest place to Tipsea Turtle to rent equipment is Orong!
Snorkeling trips are organized daily for 150.000 IDR/person with equipment included. You can book your trip at the reception in Tipsea Turtle!
Please make sure to use “reef-friendly” sunscreen or leave sunscreen for at least 20 minutes before you enter the water!
