WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO THE GILIS?
Getting to the Gilis and Lombok is very easy! Depending on where you are travelling from, there are generally 2 ways for you to come here: by plane and by boat.
Fast boat from Bali
Boats depart either from Padang Bai or from Sekarang Harbour in Bali. The boat journey to Gilis/Lombok takes about 1.5 – 2 hour, and the total travel time will depend on where you are currently staying in Bali.
Coming by fast boat is the most common way of transportation to the Gilis.
Coming by plane
If you are not in Bali or are not willing to travel by boat, the alternative is to catch a flight to Lombok International Airport.
Multiple lowcoasters operate in Indonesia, and domestic travel by air is quiet cheap and fast 🙂Â
